Raw Hair or Human Hair

Custom Extension Commissions are available in two hair categories depending on the project, desired result, budget, and availability.

Raw Hair

LBL Raw Hair Extensions are created using carefully selected raw human hair, with single-donor hair prioritized according to sourcing and project requirements.

Raw hair retains more of its natural characteristics and may display subtle differences in texture, wave pattern, strand diameter, or natural color.

For clients seeking LBL’s premium extension offering, raw hair provides an exceptional foundation for customized, luxury results.

Human Hair/Virgin Hair

Select professionally manufactured human-hair extensions are also available.

These options are carefully vetted by Levels By Lia for quality, appearance, construction, and suitability for the intended customization.

Human hair can be an excellent choice when a project does not require the characteristics or investment associated with raw single-donor hair.

When the best option isn’t obvious, LBL will recommend the hair that makes sense for the design.

LBL does not assume that every extension product is suitable simply because it is labeled “human hair” or “raw.”

Hair is selected and evaluated according to the requirements of the individual commission.

Raw hair may naturally vary between donors and batches. Manufactured human hair may also vary in processing and performance.

Turnaround

Complex vivid color, extensive lightening, specialty sourcing, larger quantities, or highly detailed color placement may require additional time.

Turnaround estimates do not include shipping transit and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

If your extensions are needed for an installation appointment, event, photoshoot, performance, or other specific date, that deadline must be disclosed before the commission is accepted.

Rush availability is not guaranteed.
